We are deeply saddened by the loss of Mrs. Gowry Shankary Thavarajah. We have lost an exceptional courageous lawyer who continued to fight fearlessly also during difficult times. Being always available to the most affected persons was a special part of herimpartial work. She was serving humanity and defending the human rights of the most marginalized people. Her passing away is a great loss for the country and the legalcommunity.
