IN TRIBUTE TO A BENIGNANT SOUL MRS. GOWRY THAVARASHA

I understood Gowry as a lady with utmost kind heartedness and humanity towards the mankind. She marked her great disposition in our hearts by extending helping hand to the people around her. It was not relevant to her whether she supports a closest one or not. Her ultimate aim is to console all the human beings and relieve them from the grievances.
My professional life as an Attorney At Law was commenced at Matara Courts. In 1989, my marriage caused me to reach Colombo. I started my practice as an Attorney At Law at Hulftsdorp but I was helpless due to the lack of cases. This helpless time period was a turning point in my life. I met Gowri and that encounter was a blessing to me. Gowry was an epitome of generosity and graciousness. She introduced me to the office she worked and cleared my professional pathway. In the true sense of the word, she was a supportive pillar to build up my practice as a Lawyer. In other words, she extended the warmth of sisterly affection to me.

Gowry’s qualities and her work are indescribably praiseworthy. She was a successful professional and a lawyer with humanity. She devoted her time, knowledge and professional integrity to do the maximum justice to the cases.

She was a loving wife to her husband Mr. K.V Thavarasha PC. Gowry was the shadow behind her husband and all the colleagues and the relations witnessed the loving bond and the mutualism they both had with each other. The parents of herself and her husband were blessed to have Gowry as a daughter and daughter in law. She performed all her duties and responsibilities to the parents, in laws and siblings.

My honest hope is that, Gowry will never face this type of an untimely death in her later births and may her soul rest in peace!
